Serve

I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me. (Matthew 25:35-36)

God’s work, our hands

Jesus is our model for whole-life service. We follow his example by serving others and working for justice and peace.

First Lutheran Church sustains significant partnerships with community and global organizations that seek to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, provide basic needs for the vulnerable, and advocate for those whose voices are not being heard.
