Pastor Huebner comes to First Lutheran after serving Lutheran congregations in Florida, North Carolina and Ohio. He holds the Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (Theatre) from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and his Master of Divinity Degree is from Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg in Gettysburg, Pa.

As a seminary intern, Pastor Huebner began the Lutheran Campus Ministry program at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, N.M. He and his wife, Cheryl, are the parents of twin sons, Caleb and Cole.
