ur Youth and Family Ministry is designed to help both youth and families grow in faith and community with one another through study, fellowship, and services. First Lutheran off er s a variety of programs to help our young people and families grow.





Teaching
We invite all adults, in addition to parents, to teach Sunday School.  There are numerous opportunities across the grade levels to share in the wonderful joy of bringing faith alive for children.

0-3 year old
While we do not offer Sunday school for this age, we do offer a staffed nursery all morning long.  This gives parents an opportunity to teach a class, go to the adult form or Parents Sunday School, or enjoy fellowship.

4 and 5 year old & Kindergarten
Our young kids meet for music each morning in the Pre-K Prayground. 
Afterwards, they go to their classroom for a time of crafts, games, and learning.

Grades 1-5 
Students participate in Rotation based Sunday School.  They study the same story for 5 weeks; each week rotating to a different room.  We have drama, art, games, story, and movie rooms.  Kids learn the stories in a variety of formats.

Grade 6
Our 6th grade students meet together each Sunday morning using the Gospel Light curriculum.  This is a fun, interactive curriculum that includes skits, games, and digging deeper into scripture.

Grades 7-8
Our younger confirmation students meet each Sunday morning in the library conference room for a time of Bible study with Jim Ulring!

Grades 9-12
Our Senior High youth meet each Sunday morning at 9:40 a.m. in the fellowship hall for a time of, well, fellowship!  At 10:00 a.m., S.H. youth will go to the youth room for discussion.
