Welcome to First Lutheran Church of Decorah! We invite you to join us for worship and fellowship, to share in the blessed comfort of God’s grace. Through worship, service, and education we practice our faith, grow our relationship with God, and experience God's grace in our lives. First Lutheran welcomes Pastor Chad Huebner Click here to read more about Pastor Chad, and view photos of the January 15 installation service. On February 19th at 9:40 a.m. Steve Sheppard will continue the discussion of Christian responsibility for social justice. Feel free to join the discussion whether or not you attended last week's session. Some questions for today's discussion are: Is it OK to be happy in light of how others live? In sharing our own good fortunes, how much is enough? What is our responsibility with regard to a planet with finite resources within a system that demands continuous growth? How are these questions tied to our faith? There will be an informational meeting for those interested in joining First Lutheran Church February 19th at 6PM in the Fireside Room. New members will be received on the following Sunday February 26th at the 8:30 worship service. If you have questions please contact Pastor Chad.
