 Help WantedWe are looking for a few more folks who would be willing to volunteer to serve as ushers and to help prepare communion for the 10:30 service. Preparing communion is a behind the scenes task, but it is critical because it allows us to actually drink the wine on 2 Sunday's per month.
Serving as an usher puts you in the wonderful position of being able to welcome everyone to worship with a friendly smile and a bulletin. Ushers also straighten up the pews, count those in attendance, and bring in the stop sign following the second service. Please let one of the pastors or Monica know if you could help. Many thanks!
Donations Request
Lutheran Services in Iowa (LSI) requests your generous donation of winter clothing for our local children (infant through teenagers), many of which lack coats and boots.

We invite families to join us for a wide range of events including hay rides, Sunday school, and worship. Come, join our community! Here are just a few of the great activities available:
Sunday School – Sunday School classes are from 9:40 a.m. - 10:20 a.m. Programming is available for kids ages 4 through 12, and a staffed nursery is available for 0-3 year-olds so adults can participate.
Wednesday After School – Our goal is to give kids in Grades 1 through 9 a safe and welcoming place Wednesday afternoons. Activities start at 3:15 p.m. and end at 6 p.m. A meal is served from 5:20 to 6 p.m., and families are welcome.
Family Ministry – Fun activities are planned each month for families to enjoy together, such as concerts, hay rides, service opportunities and a ski trip.
Youth Programs – Grades 3 through Senior High are welcome to participate in a wide variety of programs for fellowship, learning and fun.
Choir – First Lutheran offers choirs for Grade 1 through adult. Come and sing!
